Urawa Reds haven’t managed to win yet, and I think they really miss Shinzo Koroki up front as Kenyu Sugimoto just doesn’t pose the same threat in front of goal.

 

Ricardo Rodriguez is using a lot of young players in attack, and you can see he’s aiming for the future to build a new Urawa Reds. So far, although the likes of Koya Yuruki are playing well they haven’t been able to make decisive contributions.

 

On the other hand, I’m really impressed by Yuki Abe. When I played at his age I had been a regular the whole time, but he has spent a year or two on the fringes of the team, so to come back in as a key player at the age of 39 is far from easy.

 

FC Yokohama, meanwhile, have been conceding a lot of goals. They have a lot of experienced players and I really like Kohei Tezuka, but the way they defend at times makes things hard in JD1 and I don’t think they will stop conceding.

 

The way FC Yokohama play changes if my old teammate Shunsuke Nakamura is in the side or not, but I don’t think he’ll start here.

 

This will be a very tight game. I can see Urawa Reds having more of the ball but both teams missing chances. Overall I think Urawa Reds will have just about enough for the win though.
