MAIN PREDICTION: HANDICAP HAD AWAY WIN

 

Goalkeeper Matt Turner posted the clean sheet last weekend as the New England Revolution blanked DC United 1-0 at home. The lone marker of the match came in the 48th minute courtesy of a Brendan Hines-Ike own goal. It was a disappointing effort by the home side all the same but they now have a win and draw in the new league campaign.

Atlanta Utd downed the Chicago Fire 3-1 at home last weekend in front of more than 21,000 fans to give them a draw and win on the season. Man of the match Ezequiel Barco opened the scoring in the 23rd minute but Chicago evened things up in the 46th minute. Johan Kappelhof scored an own goal for Chicago in the 66th minute and Emerson Hyndman added some insurance in the 85th minute to give manager Gabriel Heinze his first league win.

Since Atlanta Utd has never lost to the New England Revolution, I'll go with a draw in this one. I think Atlanta Utd on the handicap market is the safest outcome here.
