Swansea travelled to Pride Park in midweek hoping for a comfortable victory against a relegation-threatened Derby side, but the Welsh side got off to a terrible start, conceding after four minutes on their way to a 2-0 away defeat. Steve Cooper’s men were unbeaten in three league games prior to the trip to the East Midlands. Barnsley found themselves trailing inside the opening two minutes at home against an inconsistent Preston side in midweek, but the Yorkshire side fought back well to claim an impressive victory at Oakwell. The visitors are flying under Valerien Ismael and have now won three consecutive Championship matches, propelling them into the top half. Barnsley have been in fine form lately and should manage to claim a point this weekend. I think Barnsley are a good choice on the handicap market.
