MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Injuries are really starting to take their toll on this Reading side and a weakened starting XI found themselves 3-0 down against an in-form Brentford side inside 30 minutes last weekend on their way to a 3-1 defeat. The Berkshire club have dropped out of the top six for the first time this season but could have some key players back fit ahead of this winnable clash.

Luton turned in an impressive defensive performance last weekend to claim a clean sheet and a point against a Bournemouth side who represent one of the division’s most talented outfits. Consistency has been a problem for Nathan Jones’ side this season, with the Bedfordshire club having won seven, drawn six and lost seven of their first 20 league games this term.

Reading will be desperate to claim a victory here and move themselves back into the playoff places.

HEAD TO HEAD

Reading won 5-0 and 3-0 when the sides met in the league last season.
