Cardiff were hoping to follow up their incredible comeback win against Birmingham with a positive result against league leaders Norwich last weekend, but the Welsh side were outclassed on their way to a 2-0 away defeat. Neil Harris’ side have still won five of their last seven league games but face another tough test here.

 

Brentford completely outclassed an injury-hit Reading side last weekend, racing into a 3-0 lead inside 30 minutes on their way to an extremely comfortable 3-1 win at the Brentford Community Stadium. Thomas Frank’s promotion charge is gaining momentum and the London club have now moved up to fourth place following a run of 13 league games without defeat. 

 

Cardiff are a strong side but Brentford are in fine form and should confirm another victory here.
