Burnley and Sheffield United  face off on Tuesday in an English Premier League showdown at Turf Moor. This could end up being a big game when the end of the season is upon us, and teams are trying to stay out of the relegation zone.

Burnley really needs to pick up as many points as possible even if it’s only one point at a time. Burnley hasn’t been a terrible defensive team, but the offense has been the biggest problem. Burnley is only averaging 0.57 goals per game and if they want a victory in this game they are going to need better offensive production. 

 

On the other side of this matchup is Sheffield United who have had a terrible season so far this year and they have only picked up only two points which puts them in 20th place. Sheffield United needs as many points as possible but at this point getting one point at a time isn’t going to be enough. Sheffield United needs to do everything in their power to be getting three points in every one of their games, even if that means taking some chances. Sheffield United has only put up eight total. The only real bright spot for this team has been David McGoldrick and on the season he has had four goals. 

 

Both teams are going to struggle to score in this game and that will lead to a low scoring affair. Don’t be shocked if this game ends in a 0-0 draw but the under should have no issue staying under the total.
