Michael O’Neill’s side are unbeaten in four league games but are now outside of the top six.

Nottingham Forest outshot their opponents 14-8 on Boxing Day but looked toothless in front of goal, as has been the problem all season, as they were forced to settle for a goalless draw at home against Birmingham. Chris Hughton’s side are now two points clear of the relegation zone but have played two games more than Rotherham and one game more than rivals Derby.

While both of these sides drew their games on Boxing Day, Stoke have more quality and should edge the victory at home.
